Scheduling & Availability

  • All bookings made online are considered requests and are subject to confirmation by Tru North Handyman.

  • While we do our best to honor requested dates and times, appointments may need to be adjusted due to prior commitments, job durations, routing, or unforeseen circumstances.

  • You will receive a confirmation once your appointment is officially scheduled.

Service Area

  • Tru North Handyman proudly serves Southwest Michigan and Northwest Indiana.

  • Bookings outside this region may be subject to additional travel fees or may not be accepted.

Pricing & Payment

  • Prices are based on the service description at the time of booking.

  • Additional time, labor, or materials outside the original scope may result in extra charges.

  • Payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Clients must provide 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

  • Same-day cancellations may be subject to a fee of $50 or 25% of the booked service, whichever is greater.

Client Responsibilities

  • Provide safe access to the work area.

  • Ensure pets and children are kept clear of the workspace.

  • For installations, confirm the work area is suitable (e.g., walls can support mounted items).

Workmanship Warranty

  • All workmanship is guaranteed for 90 days unless otherwise specified in writing.

  • The warranty covers defects in labor and craftsmanship directly related to the completed service.

  • Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, materials supplied by the client, or damage caused by misuse, neglect, or circumstances beyond our control (e.g., water leaks, structural issues, accidents).

  • If an issue arises within the warranty period, Tru North Handyman will make reasonable efforts to correct the problem promptly and professionally.

  • Extended warranty terms may be available depending on the scope of work.

Right to Refuse Service

  • Tru North Handyman reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service if conditions are unsafe, or if the scope differs significantly from the booking.
